BRDB is a public government organization engaged in the work of "Rural Development and Poverty Reduction" under the Department of Rural Development and Co-operation under the Local Government, Rural Development and Co-operation Ministry of the Government of Bangladesh. With the formation of 1100 human organizations / groups in the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB), Bandarban Hill District, about 22,000 members - from the members, amounting to Rs. 03.50 million, the formation of own capital, including boro cultivation, plantation aman, ginger-yellow cultivation, animal In order to maintain the main crop cultivation, Kaju nut cultivation, various types of fruit and fodder cultivation, these loans have been distributed to the tune of Tk. 05 crore 90 lakhs. In addition, Public Prosecuting is being implemented on the basis of BRDB through a program of a one-to-one farm project, one of the highest priorities of the Government of Bangladesh. In continuation of this project, the total number of beneficiaries currently present in the Bandarban Hill District is 21,800, the amount of the total donation amount given to the government including the amount of their own amount of Taka 8.8 million and the amount of loans distributed in the small salaries amounted to Tk 06 crore.
